Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

At Guardian Health Australia, we exclusively serve clients covered under the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to reschedule or cancel your appointments, and we aim to accommodate your needs while ensuring the efficient delivery of healthcare services. Therefore, we have established the following cancellation policy tailored specifically for DVA clients based upon the current DVA cancellation requirements:

Notification of Cancellation:

We request that you notify us of any appointment changes as soon as possible. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our office during business hours at least 48 hours in advance.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, or if you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice (no-show), it may result in a cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the costs associated with the reserved time slot and ensures fair access to appointments for all DVA clients.

Cancellation Fee:

For late cancellations and no-shows, a cancellation fee may apply. The cancellation fee will be determined based on the scheduled service and will be communicated to you at the time of booking or cancellation.

Exceptions:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, such as emergencies or sudden illness. In such cases, exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made at our discretion.

Waiver for DVA Clients:

DVA clients may be exempt from cancellation fees under certain circumstances. Please provide us with your DVA client details, and we will review your situation accordingly.

Repeated Cancellations:

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to schedule future appointments with us. We value our DVA clients' time and strive to provide quality care to all. Consistent adherence to appointment commitments ensures efficient and effective healthcare delivery.

Policy Review:

We reserve the right to review and update our cancellation policy periodically to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with our service standards and regulatory requirements.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our cancellation policy, please feel free to contact our office. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and look forward to assisting you with your healthcare needs at Guardian Health Australia.
